How to Request Resources
The HPC Portal welcomes applications from researchers and innovators with a clear scientific interest who can benefit from advanced data science, social media analytics, and large-scale computing resources.
Our experts and researchers will evaluate your submission to verify scientific relevance, feasibility, and alignment with SoBigData’s ethical and legal principles, while the RI team will guide you through the access procedure and support you in getting started with enhanced computational power on the available HPC facilities.

Computational and Storage Capabilities

| CPU Cores | The core infrastructure currently operates with 14,772 cores. It also federates with three external nodes, adding another 1,950 cores for a total of 6,326 cores. |
| GPU Cores | The platform is equipped with 24 high-performance NVIDIA A100 GPUs, which are dedicated to accelerating machine learning, deep learning, and data-intensive computational tasks. |
| Storage | The current storage capacity is 3,572 TB. |
| RAM | The infrastructure has 102 TB of RAM, with an additional 2.5 TB from the three federated nodes. |
